Game Goodness is a trademark owned by the Foundation of Goodness ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you or your child plays our games - Milo and the Good Angel, Happy Trails, and Ladders and Slides - how we use it, and how we protect it.

Game Goodness is designed for children aged 5 to 16. We take children's privacy seriously and only collect what we need to make the games work well.

1. Information We Collect

Information provided during play

Some of our games ask for a small amount of information, used solely to help us improve the games' curriculum, structure, and overall quality:

• Name (first name or nickname only)
• Age
• Town/City
• Country

This information helps us understand who is playing our games and how well our content is working across different ages and regions, so we can improve the Good Life Ladders curriculum and game design over time. It is not used to personalize gameplay in real time, and is not used to build an ongoing profile of any individual child.

Automatically collected information

We use Google Analytics to understand how our games are used, so we can improve them. This may include:

• Pages and games visited
• Time spent playing
• General device and browser type
• Approximate location (based on IP address, at a city/region level)
• General usage patterns (e.g., which levels are played most)

Google Analytics does not receive the name, age, town/city, or country entered directly into our games. These two data sources are kept separate.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

• Improve the curriculum, structure, and content of our games
• Understand how age and location affect how our games are received, so we can make them more effective and appropriate for our audience
• Understand how our games are used so we can fix problems and improve them
• Maintain the safety and integrity of our platform

We do not use this information to run or personalize gameplay for the child in real time, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not sell, rent, or trade any information to third parties.

3. Children's Privacy

Because Game Goodness is built for children, we follow these principles:

• We collect the minimum information necessary for the games to function.
• We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (e.g., home address, school name, photos, or contact details) from children.
• We encourage parents and guardians to be involved when children play, and to reach out to us with any questions or requests regarding their child's information.
• If we learn that a child has provided information beyond what is requested by the game (for example, typing a full name or address into a text field), we will delete that information promptly upon discovery or request.
